Jyotirlinga holds great significance as a sacred place of worship for followers of Lord Shiva. According to Hindu beliefs, the jyotirlinga represents the radiant flame of the divine deity, manifested in solid form for ease of worship. India is said to be home to 64 jyotirlingas, but among them, 12 are particularly revered and considered highly auspicious. These revered jyotirlingas are located in eight states: Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh.
Hindu mythology states that undertaking a pilgrimage to these jyotirlingas purges one of all sins and elevates the soul to a state of sanctity and purity. Devotees who visit these holy sites experience a profound transformation, becoming spiritually enlightened, serene, and enlightened with divine knowledge. According to ancient tales, those who embark on this sacred journey gain access to various Siddhis (supernatural powers).
This meticulously planned 24-day itinerary takes travelers on a pilgrimage to all 12 jyotirlingas, arranged in an east-to-west sequence across India. It is an ideal tour for those seeking mental relaxation and a deep immersion in spiritual pursuits.
Day 1: Mumbai – Rajkot
Upon arrival in Mumbai, you will meet our representative who will assist you in transferring to the railway station for your train journey to Rajkot. Overnight train journey.
Day 2: Rajkot – Dwarka
Upon arrival in Rajkot in the morning, our representative will transfer you to a hotel in Rajkot for breakfast and to freshen up. Later, you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel in Dwarka. The journey from Rajkot to Dwarka will take approximately 5 hours. In the evening, you will visit Dwarkadhish Ji and Nageshwar Temple. Return to your hotel in Dwarka for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Dwarka – Somnath
After breakfast, you will travel to Somnath by road. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. After lunch, you will visit Veraval. In the evening, you will offer prayers at Somnath Temple. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Somnath – Ujjain
After the morning Abhishek Puja, enjoy a delicious breakfast. Then, you will be transferred to the railway station to catch the train to Ujjain. Overnight train journey.
Day 5: Ujjain – Omkareshwar – Ujjain
Upon reaching Ujjain, meet our tour representative who will assist you in transferring to the hotel. Check in and relax. Later, you will drive to Omkareshwar, which is located on an island and houses the fourth jyotirlinga. In the evening, return to Ujjain for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6: Ujjain – Haridwar
In the morning, attend the Puja in Mahakaleshwar Ji and proceed to Bhairav Baba and Ma Shaktipeeth. After having lunch, leave for the railway station to catch the train to Haridwar. Overnight train journey.
Day 7: Haridwar
Upon arrival in Haridwar, check in at your pre-booked hotel. In the evening, attend the Ganga Arti. Later, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8: Haridwar – Guptkashi
After breakfast, drive to Guptkashi. Check in at the hotel and later visit the Ardh Nareshwar Mahadev Temple. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 9: Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath
Morning drive to Sonprayag, then start the trek to Kedarnath via Gorikund, Bheembali,
Garuechati. Upon arrival, perform Pooja and Darshan at Kedarnath. Overnight stay in Kedarnath.
Day 10: Kedarnath – Sonprayag – Rudrapryag
After morning Pooja and Darshan, trek down to Sonprayag. Upon arrival, meet the driver and drive back to Rudrapryag for an overnight stay.
Day 11: Rudrapryag – Haridwar – Varanasi
Today, after Darshan, drive back to Haridwar Railway Station from Gaurikund. Enjoy dinner in Haridwar and catch the train to Varanasi. Overnight train journey.
Day 12: Varanasi
Upon arrival in Varanasi, check in at the hotel. In the evening, attend the Ganga Arti. Later, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 13: Varanasi – Jasidih – Deoghar
In the morning, proceed to Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Sankatmochan Temple for morning prayers. Later, enjoy lunch and board the train to Jasidih. Upon reaching Jasidih, drive to Deoghar (Baijnath Dham) for an overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 14: Deoghar – Kolkata – Chennai
In the morning, attend the Abhishek Pooja in Baba Baijnath Ji. After breakfast, take a train to Kolkata at 8:30 am. On arrival in Kolkata, catch another train for Chennai. Overnight journey in train.
Day 15: Chennai – Rameshwaram
On reaching Chennai at 5 PM, freshen up at the station. Later, board a train to Rameshwaram at night. Overnight journey in train.
Day 16: Rameshwaram
Upon arrival in Rameshwaram in the afternoon, check in at your pre-booked hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 17: Rameshwaram – Madurai
In the morning, proceed for Mani darshan, samudra snan, and kund snan abhishekam. Then, return to the hotel for lunch and leave for Madurai. In Madurai, visit the Meenakshi Temple in the evening. Later, return to the hotel in Madurai for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 18: Madurai – Pune
After breakfast, drive to Madurai Railway Station to catch a train to Pune at 11 am. Overnight journey in train.
Day 19: Pune
Upon reaching Pune, check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure. You can enjoy shopping in the local markets during your free time. Have dinner and an overnight stay in the hotel in Pune.
Day 20: Pune – Bhimashankar – Trimbakeshwar
Today, drive from Pune to Trimbakeshwar in the morning. En-route
, make a stopover in Bhimashankar for Darshan. Upon reaching Trimbakeshwar, check in at your hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.
Day 21: Trimbakeshwar – Nashik – Shirdi
In the morning, proceed for darshan in Trimbakeshwar. Afterward, leave for Shirdi by road. During the journey, make a stop in Nashik for sightseeing. Upon arrival in Shirdi in the evening, visit Sai Dham. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Shirdi.
Day 22: Shirdi – Shani Shingnapur Dham – Aurangabad – Hyderabad
Early morning, attend the Kakad Arti at Sai Dham. Afterward, have breakfast and depart for Aurangabad by road. Make a halt at Shani Shingnapur to visit the Shani Shingnapur Dham and Ghruneshwar Mahadev. Later in the evening, board the train for Hyderabad. Overnight journey in the train.
Day 23: Hyderabad – Srisailam
Upon arrival in Hyderabad, drive to Srisailam. Check in at the hotel in Srisailam and get ready for darshan, abhishekam, and sightseeing. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 24: Srisailam – Hyderabad
In the morning, proceed for the Abhishek Darshan and continue with sightseeing in Srisailam. Afterward, drive to Hyderabad Railway Station to catch the train to Mumbai/Pune.
